Lee-Enfeild
The British Lee Enfield was a bolt action rifle that was the main weapon of the British Army. It was nearly taken out of service by the production by a faster firing weapon, however once WWI started there was no chance to finish the weapon and instead the Lee-Enfield went into mass production and soon it was in the hands of almost every British rifle man. It was a bolt action .303 rifle that had the ability to fire 15 rounds 200m down range and effectivley hit a target within a minute, however most british rifle men could fire at least 25. This tactic was extremley useful and caused the tide of many battles to turn.
Webley Revolver
The Webley Mk IV Revolver was a relibale sidearm that was issued to officers, and machine gun teams as well as standard infantry. It was a six shot revolver that used an 11.6 caliber round that easily penetrated flesh when it was used in the trench. It was also an easy to maintain weapon since it was a pistol making malfunctions almost nonexistent. However it took quite a bit of skill to fire because of its kick.
Lewis Machine Gun
The Lewis Machine gun was a .303 caliber machine gun that could carry up to 97 rounds in an over head drum. It fired at 450 rpm's and had an effective range of 550 meters making it a destructive and terrifying weapon to the men and calvary that had to charge toward it. It was water cooled like most other guns, however it had an easy to change magazine that made reloading under pressure a snap.
