Mauser
The German Mauser was another bolt action rifle that chambered a 7.62mm round. It had a improved magazine that held 7 rounds and was extremely accurate but suffered because of its extremely slow rate of fire. However it led to the creation of the Mauser II one of the best semi automatic rifles of WW2.
Maxim Machinengewer
The Machinengewer was an almost exact copy of Hiram S. Maxim's Maxim machine gun. It was demonstrated to the German army and to the Kasier himself who approved it for the army. The gun was water cooled and belt fed, it was similar to the Vickers but it had a higher rate of fire and had a shield to protect it unlike most of the Vickers machine guns.
Luger
The Luger P08 is a recoil operated semi automatic pistol. It held 7 to 8 rounds and fired all of those rounds in about 8 seconds. This was a slower rate of fire but it was such an accurate and rare pistol to find on the battle field, making them a prize possession for all American soldiers who found and carried them.
